About Atticus DeGrenier
Hailing from the Boston area, Atticus DeGrenier is an 18 year old budding artist. After graduating high school, Atticus decided to take a year off before going to college at Tufts University, and is currently playing shows around Boston while preparing to record his first ever singles.
Having been a musician since the age of 8 when he first picked up the violin, Atticus has always felt that music is his calling. After joining a band called Vagabond at 13, Atticus quickly found a love for songwriting, and performed his songs with the band at school talent shows, local community events, and restaurants.
His influences are vast and diverse, ranging from Van Halen to The Strokes to Ed Sheeran to Noah Kahan to J Cole, but his sound can best be described as acoustic folk mixed with a little bit of edginess, humor, and rock and roll, with song topics focused around personal experiences and stories from his life, usually with an introspective lens. He plays the violin, guitar, and bass, as well as sings, and is always looking for new sounds to incorporate into his music.
